ATAC Statement on Euro 2020 Ticketing

On 19th May, UEFA announced its ticket pricing for Euro 2020 matches. Hampden will host four matches.

The Association of Tartan Army Clubs disagrees with the ridiculous ticketing prices being proposed.  Tickets for the group matches from €50 (£45) for category C (behind the goals), to an eye-watering €175 (£156) for a category A (pitch side) seat. The prices for the later stages at other venues are even more astronomical.

ATAC and its members believe the massively inflated prices will prevent many supporters from attending matches, and risk thousands of empty seats, for a tournament which UEFA hope to be a special celebration of 60 years of European competition.

ATAC joins Football Supporters Europe and other supporters groups around Europe calling for a serious review of this pricing strategy, and urges UEFA to listen and act with urgency. Football without fans is nothing.
